U.S. Figure Skating depends on volunteers to ensure that all events, programs and offerings are run smoothly, safely and to the highest levels of professionalism. The Board of Directors, committee members, officials and local club leadership are all volunteers and work tirelessly to ensure that U.S. Figure Skating remains the international gold standard for the sport of figure skating.
If you are interested in joining U.S. Figure Skating as a volunteer, take a look at the many different opportunities listed below to find something that is right for you.
Volunteer at an Event
For those looking to get up close and personal with the sport, volunteering at an event is the way to go. From greeters to announcers, there are a variety of different roles that volunteers play, and local clubs are constantly on the lookout for willing volunteers to help administer events. Those wishing to explore volunteer opportunities should create an account on the U.S. Figure Skating Event Management System. The U.S. Figure Skating events department can be emailed for more information.
Volunteer with a Local Club
Outside of events, local clubs are often in search of volunteer support to help ensure smooth operation and ongoing support for their members. Use the club search tool to locate a club near you that might be looking for volunteers, or contact a local club administrator to inquire about opportunities.
Become an Official
Officials are volunteers, too, and there are always opportunities to become a trained official who can support administration of events across the United States.
